Whatever your starting point is, you will never be far from Kōshōji.
Ideally located in a quiet recess on the banks of the Ujigawa River, the temple is close to Uji Keihan and Uji JR train stations. You can count on the efficiency and reliability of the Japanese transportation system.
For those who prefer the comfort and speed of a car journey, please check the private driver option.
Is there anything to bring?
The props used in our workshops (kōan, haiku etc) are provided by us and thus you don't need to bring anything.
Kōshōji is happy to let us drop off our belongings: photo gears, clothes, drinks etc. in a dedicated room of the temple grounds.
What are the meal options?
Here are some lunch options around the temple. Don't hesitate to take advantage of this day to add a culinary discovery to your rich cultural experience.

Our activities are accommodating and flexible; nothing is mandatory.
